A temporary exhibition showcasing the selection of last objects that belonged to Fryderyk Chopin. A travel watch, a bell from the bedside table, a paperweight, and a piece of a cabinet – all coming from his last apartment in Paris until recently constituted part of Mrs. Krystyna Gołębiewska collection.

Taking these mementos out of the frame of literalness opens a way of seeing/not seeing – perceiving them anew. While creating the scenography, we wanted to emphasize the small size of these objects by placing them in a dark space and illuminating them. This technique was meant to create the impression that they were levitating.
